Duke’s in Plano + Cane Rosso Keeps Better Hours

Master of Pies, Jerrier getting funky in the house

by Bryan Coonrod

Cane Rosso the beloved mecca for pizza in Deep Ellum is opening up on Wednesday Nights and will have a DJ playing 80’s and 90’s party rock hits from 6-10. Hmmm I wonder who the DJ might be?

Wednesday evening will be labeled as Industry Night, but all are welcome.  To kick things off right owner Jay Jerrier is offering $3 craft beer, $5 house wines -or- BYOB.

The much anticipated opening of Duke’s in Plano is tentively set for this Thursday but for sure on Friday. This will be a great new addition to the landscape north of 635. The new Duke’s will be very female friendly with great food and DJ’s playing top hits from the last few decades. No doubt this will be the place to be in Plano this summer with its massive patio which will have its own DJ as well.

Keep your eyes open for a new monthly event in June that will showcase some of the top bartenders in Dallas serving their signature drinks. Keep reading Crave for the details as we will have some inside info on this.

Ed: Of course Crave’s own DJ Bryan C will be appearing weekly at Cane Rosso. You may also catch him at J. Blacks and Dukes.
