Steven Doyle and Melissa Brenner, of craveDFW are hosting an all vegan charity event to raise funds and awareness for Hope for the Silent Voices. This event will take place Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Milestone Culinary Arts Center, 4531 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75205. VIP reception begins at 6:30 and the general events runs from 7:30-10:00. Tickets are $30 or $45 for VIP and available at the door.
A fantastic selection of vegan fare will be created by local chefs including Matt McCallister, Randall Copeland and Nathan Tate of Restaurant Ava, and David Anthony Temple, paired with fantastic cocktails by Cody Sharp of Stephan Pyles. Proceeds will help to fund the upcoming impact trip to Sri Lanka and Cambodia which will provide necessary life services and products to the “throw away” society of orphans and the disabled.
Entertainment will be provided by DJ Bryan C and soloist Garrett Owen. The bar is generously stocked by Deep Eddy Vodka, Deep Ellum Brewing Company, Rahr Brewery and the good people at Republic National Company.
Come hungry and thirsty and ready to bid on some great gift certificates and local art.
100% of funds raised Sunday will go to the charity with zero expenses.

An all-vegan charity event – I love it! I’ve probably heard of one before, but it is certainly “exceptional”!
It will be vegan but made by some incredible chefs. I know much of the menu and anyone would be extremely impressed.
