There is a new, swanky hangout in town and it is a must-see on your night on the town with your girlfriends, on a sexy date, or even business meeting, Dee Lincoln’s Restaurant and Bubble Bar.

Recognized from Dallas to Wall Street as a national female powerhouse in the male-dominated steakhouse industry, Dee Lincoln is now taking her luxury brand to the next level with Dee Lincoln’s Restaurant and Bubble Bar. She has expanded her Cowboy Stadium concept to her new digs in the Rosewood Building off Cedar Springs.

The new location is chic with a splash at ease flavor with its comfortable seating, thirty-two station wine machine, and one of the only flute machines in the US. Lincoln brought in Ruth’s Chris chef, Juliard Esshizuka, utilizing his expertise with meat and fish, bringing flavorful and as a fellow diner pointed out, “addictive” fare to your table. The restaurant offers comfortable seating throughout with big, high back, cranberry colored bar chairs, large, white and brown, leather couches, conversation tables and semi private lounge areas. This is as soon as you walk in the door.

The second floor of the restaurant is reserved for private parties, happy hours, or whatever your dining heart desires. This is where the private party magic happens. The top floor has a full bar and glass cased extensive wine cellar. Lincoln has the experience and resources to help you throw a party that no one will ever forget. This dream is extended to your Cowboy stadium fantasy with her brand of luxury as Dee Lincoln handles the suite food and beverage service.

On a recent trip to Dee Lincoln’s, we were treated to a tasting menu complete with a sampling of their extensive cocktail menu. We kicked off the evening with a round of specialty martini’s which included, Deetox Tini, mixture of Stoli Bluberi Vodka and pom juice; Bella “D”, Orange flavored Grey Goose, blood orange liquer, and cranberry juice.

The table winner of the evening was the Bubble Martini, Grey Goose La Poire, St. Germaine, mixed with lemon juice and topped with Champagne is just the right amount of candy sweet and bubbly goodness. A close second was the D’Lish, Chambord Vodka, White Crème De Cacao, Frangelico, Fresh Berries, Pineapple Juice and Egg White. This was described as pie in a martini glass.

They brought out shared plates, tapas. This continues the light, comfortable feel of the restaurant. The upscale mood offset with the open and comfortable feel from the service, staff, and lighting.

Hour Braised Pork Belly Hoagie Sliders with hoisin mustard and radish sprouts. The sweet from the mustard and earthy taste of the sprouts complimented each bite.

Sushi Pizza. Tempura rice crust, ahi tuna, topped with sriracha and tobiko caviar. This was the table winner hands down with its soft tempura crust and delicious ahi tuna. You have never had sushi like this. The tempura is warm, topped with the tuna gives this favorite a unique twist that has gone unmatched.

This is the plate that will keep you coming back for more with the contradiction of hot, pizza, sushi. Confusion never tasted so good.

Burrata Pasta. Linguine, Cherry tomatoes, burrata pasta with balsamic and basil. A fresh and light version for a hot, summer day.

Shrimp and Grits. Sautéed Shrimp served atop blue cheese grits and chile greens. The tangy blue cheese contrasted with the chile, celebrating harmoniously with each bite.

This swanky, sexy, new venue is a great place to hangout, sampling their extensive wine and bubble machines while sharing bites before a show downtown or the place to host your event with endless options in a reserved, private space upstairs. Dee Lincoln has spent years building relationships with wineries, investing in our community, and bringing her luxury brand of dining for us all to enjoy. My advice, your next trip out for drinks and dinner, choose Dee Lincoln’s, you will thank me.
