Ava and Veritas Team up For Bishop Arts Restaurant

by Steven Doyle

It was just confirmed that Randall Copeland, Nathan Tate, Brooks and Bradley Anderson have signed a lease at 408 North Bishop, the old Decanter location in the Bishop Arts District in Oak Cliff.

Together Copeland and Tate own Restaurant Ava in Rockwall, and the Anderson’s own Veritas Wine Room  on Henderson in Dallas.

The team has not decided on a name for the new restaurant, but the food will be bistro fare with house-made charcuterie on the menu. More information will follow in the next few weeks, including a name which has not been formerly decided.

The group has been seeking a location for some time and finally decided on the Bishop Arts location a few months back and signed the lease this afternoon.

Edit: The name of the restaurant will be Boulevardier.

  1. Damn, BAD is booming! Love Veritas and Brooks Anderson is super nice. Can’t wait to try- should be a great addition to the other sweet spots down there.
