Back in July we mentioned that there would be a new cocktail lounge opening on McKinney. The time has come and Tate’s Craft Cocktails will swing open its doors Wednesday this week. (Also look here.)
Tate’s is owned by the same John Tate that was CEO of several corporations such as Krispy Kreme and Restoration Hardware, and local developer David Ferre. Ferre mentioned back in July that there would be a half dozen beers on tap and numerous craft bottles, but the main focus will be the cocktails.
The original Tate’s is located in the Winston-Salem area.
Tate’s will be making their own sodas, ginger beer, and tonic, as well as their own lemoncello, orangecello and Pomacello. They will also be making their own sweet vermouth.
There will be a limited menu featuring small plates.
