Originally from Corsicana, Texas, and a graduate from Texas A&M, Jason Manning planted his roots in Fort Worth, now calling the Magnolia Area home. We will use the word “home” lightly, because Jason travels all over the States and sells out crowds with his Eagles Tribute Band, 7 Bridges. However his original music projects and collaborations with different artists, make his solo music soul encompassing.
Guess what? He’s finally in town. This energetic and creative spirit is holding a solo show this Friday, March 1st from 7-9 PM at Mijo’s Fusion on Magnolia Ave. This, my friends, will be an acoustic concert you will enjoy. His stories between songs will make you laugh and sometimes hold the hand of the person next to you a little tighter. Jason’s character is laid back and can hold a conversation with such ease. You feel inspired and uplifted.
Obviously life experiences are the foundation for most musicians. I encourage you to absorb the lyrics. Our local talent not only makes you tap your feet, he has another gift, sarcasm. For hours after seeing him the first time, I sang the chorus line off his album Drive, released on March 19, 2010, “if I could only find a beer, as cold as her heart.” Hilarious!
Other original hits include, “When You’re Not A Lady” and “Still Worth It.” Sexy and Sweet what a combination, the music, not just Jason. What a fun way to start the weekend! No Cover. All ages welcome.
Hello. Hope all is well. Know you are not with the Eagles tribute band anymore. We are sorry for the loss. We live in OTOW, in Ocala, FL. and loved your band concerts year after year. I know there have been many changes, pre Covid. Other than you and your two original guys what happened to your other band members? Trying to follow everyone.
Best wishes for your continued success!
