Check Out Josh Black’s Pop-Up Beer Brunch At The Bottle Shop May 19

You know chef Josh Black. He has worked the kitchen at Stephan Pyles, was the execuchef at Campo and more recently headed up kitchen duties at People’s Last Stand.  I saw Black at an event recently where he told me he has taken time to be with his family for a bit, but we seem to see the nose-to-tail chef out doing more pop-ups and charity events than ever before. Today he sends word that he is doing a beer brunc, and this looks like some fun you will not want to miss.       

The beer brunch is $35 which includes four courses with four paired beers. This special brunch will be at the World Beer Company Bottle Shop on lower Greenville, it starts at noon and finish around 2 pm May 19, 2013.. For reservations call Stephanie at the Bottle Shop (214.828.2873) to get on the list as there will only be about 30 seats available. Josh Black invites you to come get your day drunk on with him and enjoy his selections of food and beer.

House cured

Hop cured salmon, bagel chips, fried capers, pickled shallots, creamed Leonora cheese

Beer: Lakewood Till and Toil

Southern

Stone ground grits, fried “bacon” pig ears, hot sauce, Delice de Bourgogne cheese

Beer: Founders All Day IPA

“Not chicken and waffle”

Chicken fried pork loin, almond pancakes, whipped butter, smoked maple syrup

Beer: Moa Breakfast

Enjoy your day drunk

French toast, honey barley crumble, Chantilly cream, black sugar ice cream
