Grub Burger Bar Opening Soon On Greenville Ave

grubby Steven Doyle

One of our sharp-eyed Eagle Scout readers sent word that Grub Burger Bar would be opening soon on Greenville Avenue at University Blvd. in Dallas. If you have been anywhere near Texas A&M or College Station, you know Grub to be this fantastic version of Hopdoddy (which is based in Austin coincidently) serving up freshly ground beef (in-house like Hopdoddy) and buns baked by their own little hands.

All of their sauces and dressings are made in-house and the French fries are cut each morning. Grub sources local when possible and makes everything we can from scratch. Can you say Shiner Boch battered onion rings? Look for other big flavors such as ghost peppers, smoked mayonnaise, grilled pineapple, ahi tuna, roasted red peppers, Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, balsamic onions, absinthe mushrooms and tequila habaneros.

If the space is tricked out like the College Station store you will see refined steel and wood digs with funky tunes played along with R&B and classic rock.

Look for a big taste of Aggieland to open in Dallas and Houston very soon.

  1. Snuffers has best burgers in Dallas, can be cooked “to order” on poppy seed bun.
