Lemmon Avenue cravable hot spot, The Ivy Tavern has named Andrew Kelley Executive Chef of the eatery and launches a new menu available for lunch and dinner showcasing crisp salads, bar food, burgers, sandwiches and build-your-own pizzas.
New fare includes The Blue Indian, an all-natural Bison patty topped with red onion, blue cheese, bacon and buffalo sauce and The Good Smoke burger with smoked Gouda, chipotle, BBQ sauce and red onion.
Choose between the BBQ brisket, Ivy Supreme, chicken teriyaki or white four cheese pita pizzas or create your own from the list of fresh ingredients.
Additional standouts include Ivy Tavern Greek favorites including fresh hummus, the State Fair of Texas award-winning Greek salad, Greek Pita Sandwich and the popular Ivy Tavern chili cheese fries, a full menu of fry selections, Mega nachos and brisket stuffed “O” rings.
Chef Andrew most recently held positions at Torchy’s Tacos and Neiman Marcus’ popular Zodiac Room in Dallas and in Chicago at Whole Foods, Fox & Obel Gourmet Market, The W, ARIA at The Fairmont and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Career highlights include cooking for four U.S. presidents, Oprah Winfrey, Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Bono.
Owned and operated by Lisa and Tom Georgalis, The Ivy Tavern opened in 2014 and quickly became a neighborhood staple for cocktails, craft beer and tasty bar fare. The Ivy Tavern also boasts one of the best patios in Dallas which recently underwent a major transformation to make guests more comfortable.
The Ivy Tavern offers Happy Hour every day from 11am-7pm, live trivia on Tuesday nights and live music on the outdoor patio and bar on Wednesday (8pm), Friday and Saturday evening’s beginning at 9pm. Complimentary valet parking available Thursday – Saturday from 7pm-2am.
