The Dallas Chapter of the International Wine & Food Society will hold their first event of 2016 on Thursday, January 28th at the Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom off Lemmon Avenue. The event is open to both members and non-members of the society.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with bubbles while perusing Sub-Zero and Wolf’s extensive high-end appliance offerings within kitchen vignettes. At 7:00pm, while enjoying passed appetizers and the first special wine of the night, showroom representatives will lead a guided tour, highlighting wine refrigeration options.
It will then proceed to the stadium kitchen, where Executive Chef Garth Blackburn will guide a cooking presentation on how to prepare a three-course dinner for that special someone. As each course is served to the attendees, Chef Blackburn will demonstrate the best technique for creating it.
Small production, world-class wines will be paired with each course, as Certified Wine Specialist Greg Forshay discusses each. The stellar offerings will come from Dionysus Imports, a specialty Texas distributor that represents artisanal, family-owned wineries from around the world.
