Austin’s Fixe Co-Owners Keith House and James Robert announce today their plans to open a second location of their acclaimed restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas. The 200-seat restaurant will be located at new luxury and shopping destination, The Shops at Clear Fork and is slated to open in the Fall of 2017.  Serving ‘Sunday Supper’ seven nights a week, the restaurant will also be open for a happy hour, as well as lunch daily.

Recently named one of OpenTable’s Top 100 restaurants in the country, the progressive southern restaurant was established in Austin in late 2014. In the two years since opening, Fixe has become a culinary staple in Austin’s buzzworthy food community, heralded by guests and media alike for its innovative takes on nostalgic southern dishes and dedication to outstanding service. When it opens in the fall, Fixe Fort Worth will employ the same commitment to exemplary hospitality.

The new 6100-square foot restaurant is being designed by Nelsen Partners and will evoke the feeling of entering a home in rural Louisiana. Like its Austin location, the space will feature a beautiful open kitchen highlighting the Chef’s pass and will also have a stunning patio, wine room, proper bar and two private dining spaces for business dinners and celebrations.

We have been incredibly humbled by the response to our concept in Austin. As we thought about what’s next for our team, it was clear that expanding to Forth Worth was the right move,” said President and Owner, Keith House. “We have always felt right at home in the sophisticated yet relaxed feel of Fort Worth, and couldn’t be more thrilled about being a part of its very exciting culinary community.”

As Owner and Executive Chef James Robert focuses on building a strong culinary team for the Fort Worth location, Adam Puskorius will take the helm in Austin serving as Executive Chef for the flagship location. With nearly two decades of hospitality experience, Puskorius has worked for and with some of Texas’ most recognized restaurants. Beginning his career with Lisa and Emmitt Fox at Asti trattoria in Austin, Puskorius also worked alongside Chef Mark Cox at Mark’s American Cuisine in Houston.  During his tenure with Eddie V’s restaurant group, Puskorius not only had a chance to work with House and Robert (who before opening Fixe served as Director of Operations and Corporate Exec Chef for the Eddie V’s group) where he oversaw the opening of four Eddie V’s locations across the US.

Signing on as Executive Chef for Fixe in Austin was a no-brainer for me. Having worked alongside Keith and James in the past I know that their commitment to quality and hospitality mirrors my own. As they set their sights on opening the new location, I look forward to serving up the experience that guests have come to know and love from Fixe while also expanding the core menu with new dishes and bar collaborations that reflect my passion  for progressive southern cuisine.”
