JOY Macarons will open its third retail store at The Shops at Clearfork in early Fall, 2017.

The Dallas-based bakery, owned and operated by founder Liz Lanier, offers a wide range of macarons and macaron ice cream sandwiches. JOY opened its first store in Oak Cliff in 2014 and has steadily gained popularity among Dallasites, adding a Lowest Greenville location in 2016.

“Fort Worth is a natural location for us and we’ve always wanted a store here. I grew up in Fort Worth, graduated from TCU, and have many close friends and family members who live nearby. And of course, we are really excited to be included in the lineup at The Shops at Clearfork alongside so many amazing retailers and restaurants.”

The Clearfork location will highlight JOY’s signature macarons and ice cream sandwiches as well as individual boxes of their house-made ice cream. The new store will also be the first JOY Macarons location to offer champagne, wine, and beer.

Local architect Patrick Craine of Practice Architectural Office designed the storefront and interior which features several unique design elements and re-imagined use of common materials. Patrick is also responsible for newly designed JOY Macarons packaging which will be released when the new store opens for business.

The JOY team handcrafts small batches of French macarons and macaron ice cream sandwiches daily using fine ingredients.
