Tickets for the eighth annual Dallas Chocolate Festival (DCF), September 8-10 are on sale and will be held in the heart of the Dallas Art District at the Fashion Industry Gallery F.I.G. celebrates everything chocolate. Guests are invited to meet artisans, watch live demonstrations of the chocolate making process, and sample and shop from over 60 vendor participants.
The Dallas Chocolate Festival includes a Friday night circus themed Midway Party and Chocolate Cake Walk featuring 30 gourmet cakes from popular Dallas eateries including the Hotel Intercontinental, FT33, Fairmont Hotel, chocolatier Zach Townsend, Chocolate Secrets, The Adolphus Hotel and more. Cost is $50 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres, a preview of chocolatiers, wine and cocktails, carnival games, and the Chocolate Cake Walk.
On Saturday from 9am – 4pm, guests sample and shop chocolates, pastries and specialty foods. Madame Cocoa (Adrienne Newman) once again serves as Mistress of Ceremonies along with Dallas’ own Catherine Cuellar and Harvard’s Carla Martin in the Whole Foods Market classroom. Free demonstrations and classes throughout the day include “Strange Chocolate Pairings” with Megan Giller and “Breaking Down the Chocolate Wall” with Heather Holland.
Sunday classes offer participants a hands-on chocolate experience in a state of the art commercial kitchen located in the Design District. Classes are $60 each or $200 for all four.

Since its inception in 2009, the Dallas Chocolate Festival has tripled in size, showcasing nationally and locally recognized chocolate makers, bean to bar artisans, specialty foods craftspeople, and top pastry chefs.
