Bake Your Own Treats Using Kookie Heaven

After much anticipation from DFW foodies and bakers, Kookie Haven is set to begin selling their highly sought-after cookie dough in-store on March 22nd. The family-owned Oak Cliff bakery left a flavorful impression on cookie and cupcake aficionados last year when the three sisters set up shop on Jefferson Blvd.

The “made from love” sweets continue to mix up North Texas’ fine dessert scene, this time around giving customers the opportunity to bake their delicious treats in the comfort of their own kitchens.

“We get dozens of daily requests to share our cookie dough recipes,” said Darla McCuen, co-founder of Kookie Haven. “And, while we’d never share our family’s secret recipes, we’re happy to finally share the opportunity to create an at-home experience of our cookie magic.”

The dough will be sold in pint-sized containers, weighing 1.5 lbs. each, and will make around one dozen cookies. Initially, Kookie Haven will offer four of their best-selling flavors: Chocolate Chip, Sugar, Butter Toffee Crunch and Vegan Oatmeal Cranberry Walnut. The price will be $14.50 for regular options and $16.50 for the vegan option

“We look forward to bringing all of our tender love and care into the comfort of your own home,” said Shinita Briggs, co-founder of Kookie Haven. “We hope that families throughout Dallas will enjoy making the cookies together just as much as we do in our shop.

Known for their top-notch customer service, Kookie Haven has become a staple in the Dallas philanthropic community for their support of a number of youth groups, churches, after-school organizations and Oak Cliff charities. This new launch will allow family-style groups to bring the magic of Kookie Haven cookies into their own kitchens, at a fraction of the in-store price.
