Perry’s Park District Open July 11

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is set to make its move down the street into the Park District development on Thursday, July 16.

Perry’s Uptown, located at 2000 McKinney Ave., will celebrate its final dinner service on Saturday, July 11 in preparation for its relocation. Then, Perry’s Park District will open its doors to the public at 2100 Olive Street with dinner beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 16. The new restaurant will adhere to all federal, state and local guidelines, in addition to implementing its enhanced sanitation standards and processes. Continue reading →

Authentic Nashville Hot Chicken to open later this summer in Lakewood’s Hillside Village

Palmer’s Hot Chicken – a truly authentic, Nashville hot chicken concept will open later this summer in East Dallas’ historic Hillside Village shopping center at the northeast corner of Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road at 6465 East Mockingbird Lane.

Open for lunch and dinner, this fast-casual concept was created by Texas native and Nashville-bred, Palmer Fortune, who explains his chicken recipes pay homage to the original Nashville hot chicken creator, Thornton Price. Palmer says, “I didn’t want to create my tweak of Nashville hot chicken. This is actually the real deal. All the credit goes to Nashville.” Continue reading →

Official Decision on 2020 State Fair of Texas Expected by Late July With Health and Safety as Top Priority

The State Fair of Texas will make an announcement by mid to late July concerning the status of the 2020 Fair. With health and safety as the top priority, the management team and the board of directors have been discussing all potential scenarios since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. For 40 years, Perry’s has been serving the Rare and Well Done Experience to guests, and now, the leading steakhouse is continuing its legacy by offering its 4 for $44 menu, available for to-go or dine-in throughout June. To celebrate this milestone with Perry’s, ask a server for the special prix fixe menu.

The 4 for $44 menu is available for dine-in from Sunday through Thursday, beginning at 4 p.m. It is available for to-go daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
