Located on The Strip on Cedar Springs is Street’s Fine Chicken’s flagship location. Upon opening in 2016, Street’s has offered Dallas residents and visitors delicious comfort food and cocktails, all of which encompass true southern hospitality. This summer, Street’s has added new cocktails to their list of already extravagant beverages.
For those wanting something bubbly and fruity, the Dam Thing Gone Wild is a sweet blend of Cazadores Blanco Tequila, J.R American Champagne, watermelon, lemon, lime, orange, blackberry and mint. While the idea of tequila and champagne may sound a bit daunting, the sweet flavors of the fruit mask the strong taste of the alcohol.
Another good choice is That Tea, a mix of peach moonshine, sweet tea vodka, iced Texas tea, lemonade and mint. Light, refreshing and a tribute to a Texas favorite, sweet tea, That Tea is certain to become a summer hit–and that’s the tea!
The Sriracha Meat Loaf
Street’s Shrimp and Grits
Anyone who has ever been to Street’s knows that they make the best chicken in town, whether they order it fried, grilled or roasted. However, their other comfort food dishes certainly merit a try. The Sriracha Meat Loaf offers a crisp, spicy spin on a Southern favorite. When ordered with the sides of a hot, fluffy honey butter biscuit and their gooey, creamy mac and cheese, the Sriracha Meat Loaf makes for a meal of epic, Texas-sized proportions.
Equally as good are the Texas Gulf Shrimp and Grits. The Shrimp and Grits are the perfect meal for any time of day. The grits are mixed with goat cheese, Tabasco sauce, roasted tomato and bacon, creating a mixture of equal parts cheesy, gooey, sweet and spicy. While several comfort food restaurants offer some sort of shrimp and grits dish, no one makes them better than Street’s.
Street’s Fine Chicken is open for lunch and dinner on weekdays, and on weekends for brunch.
