Al Biernat’s North is excited to present an evening with Bledsoe Family Winery on Sunday, January 14 with NFL quarterback, Drew Bledsoe, in attendance.
The evening will begin with a reception at 6:00 p.m. where Drew will share his passion of his highly acclaimed unique wines of the Walla Walla Valley in Washington where he grew up. “It is unlike anything in the world,” Bledsoe said. “Having a career in the NFL was the realization of a childhood dream, but somehow, I couldn’t deny the pull of my roots back to my hometown. My wife Maura and I are excited to celebrate this special place with you by sustainably crafting the purest expression of it with each vintage.”
Following the discussion there will be a multi-course meal prepared by Chef Luis at 6:30 p.m. A few of the menu highlights include a Maple Cured Prosciutto Salad, Chimichurri Lamb and Truffled Grilled Filet Mignon paired with a variety of wines from Bledsoe Family Wines. Drew and guests will also be watching the second half of the Cowboy’s playoff game during dinner.
Patrons will enjoy the following menu:
- Appetizer: Passed Hors d’oeuvres. Paired with Bledsoe Family ‘Elizabeth’ Chardonnay 2022, Walla Walla Valley
- First Course: Maple Cured Prosciutto Salad with Tender Field Greens, Roasted Pears, Dried Cranberries, Walnuts, Semi-Sweet Balsamic. Paired with Bledsoe-McDaniels Pinot Noir 2021, Willamette Valley.
- Second Course: Chimichurri Lamb with Roasted Medallions, Twice-Baked Potato Cake Paired with Bledsoe Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Walla Walla Valley.
- Third Course: Truffled Grilled Filet Mignon with Shaved Truffles, Creamy Mushroom Risotto, Brandy-Peppercorn Paired with Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, Walla Walla Valley
- Dessert: Chocolate Liqueur Cake paired with Berry Cream Cappuccino.
