Sanjh Introduces New Cocktails Crafted by Mixologist Yangdup Lama

On the heels of Yangdup Lama’s Sidecar x Sanjh pop up, Sanjh, the elevated restaurant paying homage to 3,500 years of rich historic Indian cuisines, unveils a list of new cocktail creations. Expertly crafted by renowned mixologist Yangdup Lama, Director of Mixology at Sanjh and Travel + Leisure Asia’s 2022’s Mixologist of the Year, the new cocktails feature a fusion of traditional Indian flavors and modern mixology techniques.

From zesty citrus to warm, rich flavors, each cocktail showcases the breadth of India’s many ingredients and flavors, meticulously combined to create the perfect cocktail.

Expressing his enthusiasm for these new creations, Yangdup Lama says, “Each cocktail on our new menu is a testament to India’s vibrant culinary landscape, where every sip tells a story of tradition, innovation, and passion. I am thrilled to be a part of bringing an elevated Indian dining experience to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and am excited for our guests to try these new creations.”

Sanjh invites guests to imbibe in this delicious journey through India’s rich heritage with its new cocktail additions. The new cocktails include creative creations such as the Bay of Bengal Gimlet, crafted with gin, all citrus oleo saccharum, and Ceylon chili tincture; the Sandalwood Hi Ball, composed of vodka, sandalwood syrup, ginger beer, ginger juice and fresh lime juice. Explore further with the Tea Tonic, featuring black tea infused vermouth, cherry syrup, lime acid, and classic Indian tonic; the Yangs Old Fashioned, boasting sweet betel nut bourbon, and Peychaud’s bitters; the East India Express, made with gin, mango puree, chili tincture, fresh lime juice, and roasted cumin orange liqueur; or the innovative Chaat, blending tequila, homemade chaat masala syrup, citric acid solution, and coriander and black salt and sugar foam.
