Avra Estiatorio, the acclaimed restaurant celebrated for its refined Mediterranean fare and upscale ambiance, is expanding to Dallas. The new 14,000-square-foot location will open in Fall 2025 at The Crescent in Uptown, a prestigious mixed-use development known for its luxury dining and retail scene.
The Dallas opening also marks a major milestone for Avra: the brand’s 25th anniversary. For a quarter-century, Avra has drawn discerning diners with its commitment to fresh ingredients, authentic Greek recipes, and impeccable service. The new outpost carries that legacy forward.
“We are excited to bring the Avra experience to Dallas, a city known for its up-and-coming culinary scene,” said Nick Tsoulos, Avra’s co-owner and co-founder. “Our goal is to offer more than just a meal—we want guests to feel transported to the Greek seaside, right here in Dallas.”
Avra’s design draws inspiration from the sun-drenched islands of Greece, combining modern sophistication with traditional charm. Inside the spacious dining room, guests will find crisp, elegant lines, earthy tones, and natural textures that evoke a relaxed, coastal atmosphere. One of the focal points of the restaurant will be The Conservatory, a glass-enclosed café space filled with lush greenery, offering a tranquil escape within the bustling Crescent development. A central bar anchors the space, serving as a lively social hub with premium cocktails, wines, and spirits.

The menu emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients and classic Greek flavors. Seafood is flown in daily from Greece, and diners can choose their fish from a market-style ice display featuring branzino, red snapper, wild Dover sole, and Mediterranean rarities like fagri and lithrini. Preparations include whole grilled over charcoal, baked in salt, or served raw as ceviche or carpaccio. Highlights include the signature Avra Chips—paper-thin zucchini and eggplant crisps—prime steaks, grilled lamb chops, and traditional Greek dips made from family recipes. Most dishes are enhanced with Avra’s own extra virgin olive oil, hand-pressed at a family farm in the Peloponnese.
The wine list showcases a robust selection of bottles from both Greece and globally respected regions like Burgundy, Bordeaux, Tuscany, and Napa. Greek wine producers gaining international acclaim are prominently featured. The spirits program is equally ambitious, offering a wide range of bourbons, ryes, vodkas, gins, rums, tequilas, and whiskies. The cocktail list creatively nods to Avra’s roots with options like the Helios Heat (Creyente Mezcal, Diplomatico Rum, spicy mango), The Santorini (Hendrick’s Gin, Crop Cucumber, basil, Giffard Pamplemousse), and Cyprus Serpent (Maestro Doble Diamante, Combier Orange, agave lime).

Avra Dallas is also designed for private events, with flexible spaces that can accommodate gatherings from 30 to 400 guests. Whether for a business function, anniversary, or birthday celebration, the events team provides personalized support to create memorable experiences in a stunning setting.
Located at 300 Crescent Court, Suite 120, Avra Estiatorio Dallas will open for dinner service in Fall 2025. For more information, visit theavragroup.com and follow @AvraEstiatorio on social media.
