DIFFA Dallas is excited to announce the return of the 16th Annual Burgers + Burgundy, hosted by MICHELIN Star Chef John Tesar. This year’s celebration brings a country-western flair while continuing the tradition of pairing celebrity chef–crafted sliders with perfectly matched wines, all to support DIFFA Dallas and its mission to fund AIDS Service Organizations across North Texas.
The event takes place Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Village Dallas on the Glen Lawn, providing an ideal outdoor setting for an evening of food, wine, and community.
This year’s chef lineup includes John Tesar (Knife Restaurant Group), Taylor Rause (Rye), Eduardo Osorio (Meridian at The Village Dallas), Brad Miller (Punch Drunk Chef Meal Prep), Mollie Guerra (Chef Mollie G, LLC), Troy Gardner (TLC Vegan), Roman Murphy (Perch by Fearing Restaurant Group), Nicholas Walker (Whiskey Cake Plano), Sergio Gallardo (STK Steakhouse), Neen Williams (NADC Burger), Jake Saenz (Big Dawg Sandos), John Kleifgen (Nick & Sam’s), Lauanie Harris (LSA Burger Co.), Chad Julka (Lockwood Distilling Co.), Celina Gomez (Loro Asian Smokehouse), and Angel Soto (NXT-GEN HOSPITALITY / Desperados Mexican Restaurant).
Chef Tesar will once again prepare his acclaimed Ozersky Burger, a tribute to his late friend, food writer Josh Ozersky, featuring a simple but perfect combination of beef patty, American cheese, thinly sliced red onions, and a soft white bun.
Event chairs Brandon Bell and JR Shoman bring fresh energy to the tradition. Bell says, “Burgers + Burgundy is more than delicious food and fine wine; it’s about celebrating community, supporting our mission, and kicking off the DIFFA Season with the unveiling of the 2026 House of DIFFA theme and Style Council Ambassadors.”
Tickets are $100, with VIP tickets at $150, offering VIP bar access, reduced raffle ticket prices, and an appreciation gift. The high-end raffle features luxury prizes over $1,000; tickets are $50 each or two for $85, with VIPs paying $40 each. Guests can also join the blind wine pull for $25 to take home a bottle of wine.
