Piattello Italian Kitchen Is Moving to Clearfork This Fall

Piattello Italian Kitchen is leaving Waterside after nearly ten years and moving about a mile down the road to The Shops at Clearfork this November.

Chef Marcus Paslay’s Fort Worth Italian restaurant — the flagship concept of his From Scratch Hospitality group — will take 5,620 square feet on the ground floor of The Offices at Clearfork, a new three-story, 70,000-square-foot mixed-use building at the corner of Marathon Avenue and Ozona Boulevard. The new space seats 160 inside with an additional 40 on the patio. Piattello will also add lunch service for the first time, running lunch and dinner seven days a week once open.

The menu stays largely intact. Paslay built Piattello’s reputation on housemade breads, hand-rolled pastas, artisanal pizzas, charcuterie, and a seasonal Italian wine program, and none of that changes with the move. A few new additions are coming ahead of the fall opening, with more updates to roll out through the summer. “All of the favorites are staying,” Paslay said.

The Clearfork location makes Piattello the first and only Fort Worth-owned restaurant in the development — a distinction Paslay was direct about when discussing the move. The Shops at Clearfork is anchored by national and global brands, and bringing a homegrown Italian concept into that environment was part of the appeal. The building also welcomes Wells Fargo as the anchor office tenant on the upper floors.

The official opening date hasn’t been announced yet but is expected this November. The move also sets up a milestone: Piattello turns ten in January 2027, and the team plans to celebrate through the fall opening and into the new year.
