This week we invited chefs Richard Chamberlain (Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House and Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill) and Jim “Sevy” Severson (Sevy’s). The pair of chefs are long-time friends and it seemed only natural to have them on in tandem.

Chamberlain discussed some of his tips for the upcoming Kaboom Town, his favorite dishes at his restaurants, and his love for hunting and fishing. Sevy discussed his start in the restaurant business working at McDonalds that lead to attending the Culinary Institute of America.        Continue reading

Chef Uno Invites You To Join Her In Mexico For A Culinary Vacation

We have been following Uno Immanivong since we met her last Fall when she was competing in the Anthony Bourdain television program The Taste. We since learned she would be opening her restaurant Chino Chinatown in Trinity Groves   most likely in October. Uno has this vibrant and warm personality that is at once charming and inviting.

This summer her fans will have a chance to get to know her much better as she leads an excursion to the Mayan Riveria where they will enjoy hands on cooking classes, a greenhouse tour, cocktail and cooking demos, a pop-up beach dinner and much more.      Continue reading
