Crow Museum of Asian Art Unveils Winter/Spring Season of Exhibitions, Events at UT Dallas and Dallas Arts District Locations

Nearly five months after the Crow Museum of Asian Art unveiled its second location on The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas) campus, the museum is announcing its 2025 winter/spring season, packed with new exhibitions, interactive workshops, educational experiences and captivating multimedia performances. Visitors can explore a range of Asian artistic expressions including engaging installations, hands-on activities and events for all ages – from art enthusiasts and families to anyone seeking to broaden their cultural understanding. Highlights include the debut of an immersive multimedia installation – Saya Woolfalk’s Floating World of the Quilted Cloud – opening March 8 at the UT Dallas museum, alongside three compelling exhibitions opening April 5 at the Dallas Arts District location.

Additionally, the museum is offering a range of interactive programs, from Saturday drop-in tours to a performance of Kinmakers: Hidden Songs in Our Mother’s Dreams, curator lectures and hands-on workshops like Shibori dyeing with designer Mili Suleman. With its many offerings, the Crow Museum promises an unforgettable celebration of Asian culture that invite guests to explore, learn and connect. Perot Museum of Nature and Science Announces Summer Programs

Summer may be heating up, but the Perot Museum of Nature and Science always offers cool relief with two new exhibitions that include amazing animals and a DIY makerspace, an exhilarating 3D film line-up, First Thursday Late Nights, second-Saturday Discovery Days, adults-only Social Sciences, military/first responders and late-afternoon discounts, and more for a surplus of summer fun perfect for all ages.

Amazing Animals: Built to Survive will entice visitors to uncover the marvels of natural engineering inside every living thing. Jaws that can crush over 8,000 pounds in one bite, ears that act as air conditioners, a punch faster than a speeding bullet and legs that can leap the human equivalent of a football field in a single bound await in this interactive experience. Opening to the public June 13, the bilingual traveling exhibition will show how every living thing – including humans – is a machine built to survive, move and discover.   Continue reading
