SPCA Pets of the Week

Meet Vaughn, a 1-year-old, 52-pound Pointer mix. He came to the SPCA of Texas on October 11 because his owners didn’t have proper housing for him. He was kept outside 24/7, and he’s a guy who wants to be with his people. He is a great dog who is good with kids and other dogs. He is playful and energetic, but he has a tendency to get quite shy when you come in to pet him. It’s actually pretty cute.

Vaughn is a sweetheart who loves kisses and lap cuddles. He is quiet and fun, and he’ll be a great dog for someone. He has been neutered, micro-chipped and given all age-appropriate vaccinations. Come by and meet Vaughn today. #121488 Continue reading →

SPCA Pets Of The Week: Lucy And Candace

Meet Lucy, a beautiful, 6-year-old, 53 pound Hound mix. She has a gorgeous black, brown, and white coat with beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Lucy can be a little shy when she first meets people, but once she gets to know you, she is as sweet as can be. She is a pretty laid back lady who enjoys going for walks outside and does well on the leash. Lucy was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on December 23rd because her previous owners had no time for a pet. According to her previous owner, she has previously lived with children. She has been spayed, Heartworm tested (she’s negative), micro-chipped, and received her age appropriate vaccinations. Would Lucy be the perfect addition to your family? SPCA Pets of the Week: Bogart and Prissy

Meet Bogart, an adorable 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. Bogart was transferred to the SPCA of Texas October 22, and he can’t wait to find his loving forever family. With his ear-to-ear smile and tail that won’t quit, Bogart will always be happy to see you and he promises to cheer you up, even your worst days. Bogart is a big, silly kid at heart with lots of energy to spare; he just loves to run around and chase toys outside. Did you know that you can bring your current, vaccinated pets to the shelter to meet potential pets like Bogart?

SPCA Pets of the Week: Meet Cheyenne and Gain

We have a few more adorable pets for you to take home and love on. This week they are particularly sweet and would make a great addition to your family.

Meet Cheyenne, a delightful 2-year-old, 47-pound Sharpei/Akita mix looking for a fun and loving forever family. With her soft red and brown coat, warm chocolaty eyes, and sweet smile, she is definitely hard to resist. Cheyenne is a spirited gal and enjoys bounding after tennis balls, playing tug-o-war, and chomping down on squeaky toys. You’ll know she’s ready to play when she bounces up and down like that Pepé Le Pew from the cartoons! In addition to being a playful pup, she is also quite intelligent!
