People’s Choice Award Winner: Rex’s Seafood Market

by Steven Doyle

We have a clear cut winner for this week’s People’s Choice Award in the category of Seafood —  Rex’s Seafood Market  in Dallas.  The readers of craveDFW have great taste and we appreciate everyone chiming in to vote.

The seafood market/ restaurant has plenty to choose from including Rex’s vast appetizer menu that sports many favorites including mussels, clams, crab cakes and ceviche to name a few.  They also have one of the best fish tacos that can be found in Dallas.

Name your fish and Rex’s probably serves it up for lunch or dinner, but pay close attention to Friday’s where they offer their lobster roll which also is one of the best renditions in town.

Congratulations to Rex’s for winning craveDFW’s 2011 People’s Choice Award for seafood.

Also we offer as a bonus prize for the readers who voted, dinner for two at Rex’s on us.  This weeks winner is Sarah Tomlinson. Check your email for instructions on how to claim your prize.

We will announce the next category Monday morning, stay tuned and thank you for reading craveDFW for your arts and dining updates in Dallas-Fort Worth.

  1. Well deserved! Everyone raves about Rex’s lunch and dinner service.

Make no mistake – Dallasites can get the best seafood in the WORLD here in Dallas Texas. Accept nothing less from any restaurant.

  2. I order fish to cook at home from Rex’s through Artizone. But, I never think of going there. I’ll have to get on that!

  3. Great to hear! As Margie mentioned, we do online home delivery for Rex’s. It’s very fresh and a great selection!
