Chef Point Expanding, Adding Bar

by Steven Doyle

Chef Point Café, the gourmet restaurant found inside the gas station located in Wautaga, Texas (burb in Fort Worth) has been busy the last few months promoting the little café with 99 cent deals. You may recall a few months back where Chef Point made headlines by selling gas for 99 cents, the lines swelled down the street as eager guests awaited their turn at cheap fuel, reminiscent of the Jimmy Carter days.

More recently Chef Point offered a 99 cent burger and ‘Freedom Fries’ deal for July 4th

If you missed those opportunities, or if you have not savored the café’s cuisine, get ready to line up once again.  The café, which was recently featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, will be doing another promotion July 26th between 4 and 6pm in what they claim will be an opportunity to save money unlike any other restaurant has offered before in the Fort Worth area.

Chef Point offers a full scale menu inside the Conoco station including their award winning burger, a full complement of seafood and steaks with everything in between.  Chef Point serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you want more clues as to this and other promotions from Chef’s Point, add them on Facebook.

In other Chef Point news, the tiny restaurant is expanding, adding a full-service bar and doubling the seating capacity.
