If your stomping grounds are further north of Dallas, say in Allen, you’re about to get a tasty addition in the Watters Creek shopping compound. The resort-style complex is known for their unique boutiques with a few independent and chain eateries, so the new restaurants currently building out will make a welcome addition.
Savour Tapas Bar, a new modern bistro serving international shared plates with a vibrant indoor-outdoor bar overlooking the Green, focused on fresh artisanal cocktails; and Frogg Café and Creperie specializing in delicious sweet and savory crepes and a variety of gourmet coffees, will be ready sometime this coming Fall of 2011.
I’m excited about this new Tapas Bar. I live out here in the Allen area and didn’t frequent the Watters Creek as much as usual this summer due to the intense heat. So this is a welcomed surprise… I’ll be there to taste and enjoy!
