Cooking with Nicole

by Steven Doyle

We checked in with chef Nicole to find out what she has planned for the coming weekends at her underground dinners and she did not disappoint.

For this weekend expect more locally grown produce in the way of carnival squash, Japanese sweet potatoes, pears, chard, purple hull peas, onions and reed avocados. The 7-course tasting menu will also highlight a cheeseboard from Ali Morgan of Scardello fame, and local grass-fed beef.

Expect a few surprises at this BYOB dinner. Nicole suggests you bring along Pinot Noir, Merlot, Rose, Wheat or Bock beer.

Then on October 22nd she will host a bit of mystery and intrigue along with dinner as she does a play on the Halloween season with Murder Mystery Dinner, hosted by Rachel Tesla.

This event will be a 1920’s themed dinner, meaning everyone that attends is asked to dress the part and you will be part of the show. This dinner will cost $50 and Nicole accepts all forms of payment.

These special events will fill up fast so it is suggested you RSVP today via email: nicole@chefnicoledallas.com Facebook: www.facebook.com/nicole.gossling or Text: 214-507-2136.
