Ruthie’s Adds A Rolling Crepe Truck To The Line Up

by Steven Doyle

Ruthie’s Rolling Café is a triple threat in the Dallas food truck business. In a time when more than just a few trucks are rolling up their welcome mats and high-tailing it out of town, Ruthie’s continues to expand. As with any business, longevity is given to the very best. Ruthie’s has always been known for their quality sandwiches with their first truck which features above average grilled cheese sandwiches (try the BBQ filled grilled cheese for maximum impact).

The second truck is all about the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and there are a slew of options for that monster sandwich. As with the grilled cheese, it is all about the bread that hosts a variety of ingredients. The Cheesesteak Café will make the sandwich in numerous ways such as Italian version with a side of marinara, or teriyaki beef. You may also grab a grilled cheese sandwich or a hot dog from this truck.

The latest incarnation of the Ruthie series is the new crepery on wheels. This truck offers numerous options, both sweet and savory. Good to note that the truck has vegetarian options and a full breakfast menu as well.

Ashlee Hunt Kleinert is the intrepid owner who named the business after her grandmother. Look for any one of these trucks where better food trucks are parked in Dallas. Check the website for daily locations.
