Berkley’s Market Bring Authentic French Pastry to Dallas

Berkley’s Market, the neighborhood favorite for groceries and coffee, has teamed up with French Atelier Bakery to offer fresh, authentic French pastries at all of its locations. Baked nightly and delivered each morning, these handcrafted treats bring a true taste of France to Dallas.

The pastry program is led by Chef François Delaire, an acclaimed French pastry chef with more than 20 years of experience in fine dining and luxury hotels across Europe and Asia. His career includes work at Joël Robuchon’s world-renowned restaurants, Peninsula Hotels, and InterContinental properties. Known for his precision and creativity, Chef François now brings his expertise to Berkley’s customers.

Guests can enjoy both savory and sweet selections, including Butter, Almond, and Chocolate Croissants, a Ham & Cheese Croissant, and a Tomato Basil Danish. Sweet options include Cinnamon Rolls, Pain Suisse, Strawberry Pop Tarts, Blueberry Muffins, Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins, and the Matcha Cruffin. Gluten-free and vegan pastries are also available, such as a Chocolate Vegan Donut, Blueberry Muffin, and Banana Bread—all baked from scratch with premium ingredients.

“We had just returned from France the week before we met Chef François,” said Berkley’s Market co-founder Zac Porter. “His pastries took us right back—without the jet lag. Honestly, they’re better than anything we had there. Dallas is lucky to have a chef of his caliber, and we’re honored that Berkley’s is his first home here.”

Chef François, who co-founded French Atelier Bakery with Fiona Bergson, has spent his career perfecting classic French techniques while also innovating with new flavors and styles. His pastries have been featured on television across France and Asia, and his passion shows in every detail.
