National Margarita Day calls for more than the usual salt-rimmed glass—and this year, Mexican Sugar is stepping it up. In a delicious collaboration with Texas favorite Henry’s Ice Cream, the restaurant is launching The Tejas Flight, a limited-time margarita trio inspired by bold Texas flavors and inventive craftsmanship.

National Margarita Day

Available from Friday, February 20 through Monday, March 2, in celebration of National Margarita Day (February 22) and leading up to Texas Independence Day, The Tejas Flight offers three distinct margaritas that blend classic technique with playful, regional flair. Guests can enjoy the full flight or order any of the cocktails individually.

National Margarita Day Cocktails:

  • Prickly Pear Sorbet Margarita
A custom prickly pear sorbet from Henry’s Ice Cream, blended with Pueblo Viejo Blanco, Cointreau, agave, and fresh lime.
  • Texas Margarita
A bright, citrus-forward mix of orange juice, Corazón Reposado, Grand Marnier, agave, and lime, delivering unmistakable Lone Star spirit.
  • Jalapeño Margarita
A lively, slightly spicy combination of jalapeño-infused El Tequileño Blanco, agave, lemon, and St. Germain.

Whether celebrating National Margarita Day, Texas Independence Day, or just the joy of inventive cocktails, The Tejas Flight offers a playful yet sophisticated twist on classic margaritas. It’s a taste of Texas, one thoughtfully crafted sip at a time.
