Winspear Holds Nightly Lottery For $24 Tickets for RENT 20th Anniversary Tour


RENT 20th ANNIVERSARY TOUR, Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning   musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the 20th Anniversary Tour, which makes its first stop in Dallas on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District and plays a limited two-week engagement through Sunday, October 2, 2016.

In Dallas, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Box Office, 2403 Flora Street, making a limited number of tickets available at $24 apiece for each performance.   Continue reading

Seinfeld In Dallas At Winspear June 8

Jerry Seinfeld is an iconic comedian made famous by his eponymous television series in the 90’s. Comedy Central labeled Seinfeld as number 12 in a line of 100 comedians they most appreciated. Number one and two respectively is Richard Pryor and George Carlin, so that list seems legit. Sinbad is number 79 so that list gets dodgy towards the end, but still, who doesn’t have a few Jerryisms in their late night repertoire? I am looking at you who often say “yada, yada, yada”, which can mean most anything.         Continue reading

Blue Man Group Added To Holiday Line Up At Winspear

The AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today a return engagement of Dallas favorites Blue Man Group as a late addition to its current season.  Blue Man Group will play a strictly limited holiday engagement from December 26-30, 2012 in the Winspear Opera House as a special presentation of the Lexus Broadway Series.

“Our previous engagement of Blue Man Group was for two weeks and did record-breaking business,” said Doug Curtis, acting CEO of the Center. “With only one week this time, we expect tickets to be in very high demand, especially during those unique days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve when kids are out of school and people are looking for family-friendly activities.”   Continue reading
