Houndstooth Coffee Opening in North Dallas


Texas-based business Houndstooth Coffee announces their newest cafe location in The Hill Shopping Center in North Dallas, slated to open in fall 2017. Located at 9730 N. Central Expressway, the location is being constructed on property at sustainable home improvement store TreeHouse. The Hill location of Houndstooth Coffee will be the third Dallas cafe and fifth overall.

“We are excited to be part of the growth at Walnut Hill and look forward to serving folks from around the neighborhood and community,” said Sean Henry, founder and owner of Houndstooth Coffee. “This cafe, located right on US-75, will certainly be more accessible for our friends and fans in the Richardson and Plano communities, and we look forward to inviting new guests into ‘the Pattern of Coffee and People.’” Continue reading

Houndstooth Coffee to Open in Sylvan|Thirty



Sylvan | Thirty will soon be home to Houndstooth Coffee, the popular coffee shop that opened its first Dallas location last year on Henderson Avenue. In addition to its coffee and pastries, the Sylvan | Thirty shop will also feature a still-in-development food concept that will be new to the company.

“Sylvan | Thirty’s vision, tenant mix and surrounding communities feel right for what we aim to bring to the marketplace,” said Sean Henry, Houndstooth Coffee’s founder. “Also, the space will allow us to host lots of different people in new ways.”  Continue reading

Austin’s Houndstooth Coffee Making Its Way To Dallas

Austin-based coffee shop Houndstooth is finally set to open in Spring 2014 on Henderson Avenue. Houndstooth Coffee announced last year that it would open a shop in Dallas at a different location but has since decided that the Henderson spot was better suited for the café.

“Henderson has developed a wonderfully supported food, beverage & retail scene here in Dallas. We’re excited to watch the pattern of coffee and people weave into the vibrant cultural fabric here,” said owner of Houndstooth Coffee, Sean Henry. “We can’t wait until the new year when we begin weaving moments between coffees, guests and baristas.”

It’s been a big year for Henry who not only opened his second Austin location earlier in 2013 but also his own roastery and line of whole bean coffees, TWEED, which is also based in Dallas.   Continue reading
