Rabbit Hole Brewing will debut a special Firkin at the Untapped Festival Ft Worth on May 9: a cask conditioned version of Rapture (Fusion Brown Ale) infused with Mystical Coffee’s Wild Mountain Luwak coffee. Kopi Luwak, or Wild Civet coffee is the rarest, most unique, exotic and highly coveted coffee in the world. On December 14, 2013, Rabbit Hole Brewing sold their first keg of beer. In honor of that anniversary, the Justin, TX-based brewery will hold a First Anniversary Party on Saturday, December 13, from 1-6 p.m. The Rabbit Hole team, including founders Matt Morriss, Tom Anderson, and Laron Cheek, will celebrate the occasion with the release of their limited-edition New Year’s beer, Hole Lang Syne. Thursday July 17th – Tap Takeover at Goodfriend (Garland) which will include special menu items as well. Four beers on tap (Mike Modano’s 561 Kolsch-style ale, Rapture fusion brown ale, 10/6 English IPA, and Wonderlust saison) plus chef-created specials like ½ rabbit with garlic mashed potatoes and a Rapture pan sauce or Wonderlust lemon sorbet. There will also be a special beer-cocktail that takes Rapture, adds in some bourbon, a bit of maple syrup and is poured over ice – working on a name for it but the current leader is Peter Maple-tail.
