Film SOMM Features Dallas Sommelier

by Steven Doyle

We thought you might get a kick out of this clip of a film coming soon. Somm is the story of four Sommeliers attempting to pass the Prestigious Master Sommelier Exam, a test with one of the lowest pass rates in the world.

The exam covers literally anything having to do with the entire world of wine and that is just the beginning. Access to the Court Of Master Sommeliers has always been strictly regulated and cameras have never been allowed anywhere near the exam, until now.

Jump for a sneak preview.

We spoke with local sommelier featured in this documentary, Dlynn Proctor and he was obviously very excited about the upcoming movie, “It’s nice to see local sommeliers get recognized. This project is incredible.”

DLynn Proctor is a local sommelier that works with private wine cellars as well as restaurants such as The Cedars Social  and Private Social.

Look for the film to be released soon.

    I’d heard D’Lynn has moved to Florida…?

  2. Holy crap. D’Lynn is in this? He was the worst date I’ve ever been on. Biggest egomaniac! hahaha. Wow. Small world.
