Rev those reservation fingers, Restaurant Week is once again upon us. Use the handy guide which holds all the details to find that perfect prix fixe meal on the cheap. Some great deals are to be found on the list, and this is a terrific way to check out some restaurants you haven’t been to yet for whatever reason. As in the past, you will find $35 and $45 3-course meals, and lunches for $25 each, all benefiting the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas, and the Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth.
But wait, there is more this year. Check out the kick-off party August 7th at Fair Park’s Centennial Hall which will feature food from the list of Restaurant Week restaurants. We’ve been told that there will also be some fine cocktails served up at this new event. The preview event costs $50 with proceeds going to the charities, and there is a $95 VIP option as well which allows guests a special an early preview, a special VIP lounge and valet parking.
The 2014 Restaurant Week anticipates to raise nearly one million dollars. Where will you be dining this year?
