Lakewood Brewing Company Releases French Quarter Temptress

This September, Lakewood Brewing Company will release a “Seduction Series” favorite, French Quarter Temptress on draft, and as promised, in bottles for the first time ever. Capturing the spirit and attitude of New Orleans, French Quarter Temptress possesses the boldness of barrel-aged coffee and chicory within the incredibly smooth 9.1 percent ABV Imperial Milk Stout.

Lakewood will once again partner with Kevin and Marta Sprague at Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters in East Dallas, creating the perfect character and tasting notes of French Quarter Temptress.

“Every batch of French Quarter Temptress radiates a slightly unique taste and personality with each brew, yet the essence remains the same” said Wim Bens, Founder of Lakewood Brewing Company. “We aged the beans in our own Bourbon Barrel Temptress barrels before the coffee is brewed. The seductive flavor comes from the complex notes of bourbon in the beans, plus the spicy touch of chicory we add to the beer. It really is like New Orleans in a glass.”

French Quarter Temptress is to be released in the Dallas-Fort Worth area the week of September 14, on draft at bars and restaurants and in 22 ounce bottles at local retailers around the area.

Most bars and restaurants that will carry the limited French Quarter Temptress already serve Lakewood’s ever-popular regular Temptress.
