Slater’s 50/50, a unique Burger, Bacon and Beer restaurant, brings its notorious over-the-top menu and namesake patty to Dallas and is now unofficially open.

Making its Dallas debut in Lower Greenville, this location is the brand’s first franchise. Partner and franchisee, Dave Coussirat, first experienced Slater’s 50/50 during a trip to San Diego and knew he had to bring the concept to his hometown of Dallas.

“It was love at first bite for my family,” said Coussirat. “With so many creative burgers, bacon and craft beer, Slater’s 50/50 was an obvious fit for the Lone Star State.  We’re excited to make it part of Texas”.

Slater’s 50/50 features an eclectic menu, highlighting a game-changing burger patty made of 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon. The menu’s main muse is bacon, including bacon cocktails, bacon ketchup, bacon milkshakes, bacon cheese fries, and a bacon brownie.

Creative menu items range from elevated classics like the 100% angus beef “Best Damn Bacon Cheeseburger” and Backyard Basic Burgers, to adventurous creations like the Peanut Butter and Jellousy (made with 100% beef, bacon and PB&J), and the Pizza Burger (50% ground beef and 50% ground Italian sausage).

In addition to burgers, Slater’s 50/50 offers share-able dishes such as Fried Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese Balls, Dr. Pepper Glazed Wings, Carne Asada Fries and the Mint Guinness Milkshake.

Beyond burgers, Slater’s 50/50 offers an extensive beer and cocktail menu. Dallas’ location will offer more than 50 draft lines of local craft beer, each served at the right temperature and in the right glass.  Every server is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server.

With a passion for good food and craft beer, and a disdain for the boring, Scott Slater founded Slater’s 50/50 with a goal of delivering the highest quality ingredients and top-notch service in a relaxed and fun environment.

“Making the decision to expand to Dallas for the first franchise was a no-brainer,” stated Slater. “Bacon, burgers and Texas go hand-in-hand, and we are excited to serve the best burgers in town”.

Slater’s 50/50 is located at 2817 Greenville Ave, Dallas. The restaurant will feature three levels with a bar on each floor and a rooftop patio.
