White Rock Ale House Beer Release Party April 14th

In December of 2017 we ran a first look story of White Rock Ale House with the promise that they would be bringing in equipment to brew their own beer. That time has arrived.

Founders Dave Kirk and Greg Nixon are friends and entrepreneurs with a love of the craft beer movement who created their concept to fill a gap in the market. They’ve witnessed the craft beer world evolving around the country and in Dallas, too, with breweries opening locally – but with few options in the stretch between East Dallas and Garland.

Their license is for a brewpub, which allows them to make beer to be consumed on-site. Head brewer is Blake Morrison, a home brewer-turned-pro who helped formulate several of the beers for Cedar Creek Brewery including the popular Dankosaurus IPA, and who created the lineup of beers at Whistle Post Brewing in Pilot Point. He’s a local boy, too: Like Greg and Dave, he’s a resident of Lake Highlands.

Now you may sample out some of the brews from White Rock Ale House with their release party April 14th from 3-7pm. Who doesn’t like a party?

The party will bring in their Blonde Ale, Coffee Brown Ale, American Pale Ale, New England style IPA. Fun names to be christened later.

Your $30 ticket will include the following:

  • New White Rock Alehouse & Brewery logo glass
  • 2 Pints of your choice from any of the 4 New beer offerings
  • Pig Roast with all the fixins – all you can eat!
  • Live Music
  • The Photo Wagon will be on site from 4-7pm for pictures with your friends
