Al Biernat’s North welcomes guests to an unforgettable evening of fine wine and elevated cuisine on Thursday, September 24, celebrating the acclaimed portfolio of visionary winemaker Jayson Woodbridge, the force behind Hundred Acre, Fortunate Son, and the newly introduced Summer Dreams label.
This exclusive, one-night-only dinner will showcase Woodbridge’s iconic Napa and Sonoma wines alongside a four-course menu created by Chef Luis Rodriguez, each dish thoughtfully paired to highlight the character of every pour. The evening begins with a 6:30 p.m. wine reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a 7:00 p.m. seated dinner in the restaurant’s elegant dining room.
The journey opens with 2024 Summer Dreams Vulcan Ridge Vineyard Rosé of Pinot Noir, served with passed hors d’oeuvres. A Modern Greek Salad with figs, heirloom peppers, olives, tomatoes, and feta, dressed in citrus vinaigrette, pairs seamlessly with the 2023 Summer Dreams Walking on Venice Beach Sauvignon Blanc.
The second course presents Herb-Crusted Lamb Medallions with prosciutto-wrapped figs and fig demi-glace, elevated by the 2021 Fortunate Son “The Diplomat”, a merlot-cabernet blend from Napa Valley. For the main course, Roasted Elk Chops with king trumpet mushrooms, grilled sweet potatoes, and plum glaze are paired with the 2021 Hundred Acre “Wraith” Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena.
A decadent finale awaits: German Chocolate Cake with coconut, toasted pecans, and caramel, accompanied by the luxurious Hundred Acre Wraith Fortified Dessert Wine.
The Hundred Acre, Fortunate Son, and Summer Dreams Wine Dinner is priced at $295 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity). Seating is limited, and early reservations are strongly encouraged. To reserve, visit the host stand at Al Biernat’s North (5251 Spring Valley Rd., Dallas, TX), call 972-239-3400, or email Wine Director Brian Hardin at brian@albiernats.com.
