Pecan Lodge Rolls Out a Holiday Feast Worth Gathering Around

Dallas’ legendary Pecan Lodge—a name synonymous with long lines, billowing smoke, and some of the most celebrated barbecue in Texas—is officially opening its holiday preorder window, making it easier than ever to bring their award-winning flavors to your own table. Regardless of if you’re hosting the whole neighborhood or curating a cozy family gathering, their holiday offerings give home cooks a break while delivering the deeply smoked, Texas-sized comfort Pecan Lodge is famous for.

This year’s menu spans an impressive lineup of mains, all slow-smoked and seasoned with the signature care that has made the restaurant a national destination. Guests can choose from a traditional smoked turkey, perfectly bronzed and aromatic, or a spiral-sliced ham finished with an apricot–molasses glaze that strikes the ideal balance between sweet and savory. For those craving something more indulgent, Pecan Lodge is also offering spice-crusted beef tenderloin, whole smoked brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends, racks of ribs, handmade smoked sausage links, and even tamales—each showcasing the depth of flavor that comes from hours of patient smoking over post oak. Prices range from $22 to $349, depending on cut and size.

Of course, no Pecan Lodge holiday table is complete without the Southern staples that have earned just as much praise as the meats themselves. Their sides feel like the dishes every family hopes to perfect: Southern cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, whipped sweet potatoes, Mamie’s baked beans, braised collard greens, and the crowd-favorite mac n’ cheese, dense, creamy, and indulgent in all the right ways. For dessert lovers, the lineup includes Aunt Polly’s banana pudding, a creamy retro masterpiece, and peach cobbler that tastes like summer preserved in a holiday dish. All sides and desserts are offered in both small (serves 6–8) and large (serves 12–15) family-style portions, priced from $32 to $50.

Everything arrives fully cooked, complete with simple reheating instructions, so hosts can spend more time enjoying the holiday and less time juggling oven temperatures.

The last day to place holiday orders is Sunday, November 23 at 11:59 p.m., and pickups will take place between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., November 22–26, at the Pecan Lodge Catering Facility located at 1618 West Commerce Street.
