Dee Lincoln Prime in Frisco is hosting a wine dinner with Tusk Estate on Tuesday, June 16, and it’s worth putting on the radar if you have a serious interest in what Napa Valley is producing right now.
The evening starts with a reception at 6:30 p.m., with dinner following at 7. Tusk Estate partner Tim Martin and winemaker Maayan Koschizky will both be there, which makes it a real conversation rather than just bottles on a table.
The four-course menu moves through tenderloin tartare caviar cones, heirloom tomato carpaccio with fresh mozzarella di bufala, shrimp fagottini with blue crab butter sauce, and a Wagyu duo — Australian and Japanese — with truffled whipped potatoes. Dessert is a bourbon old fashioned crème brûlée with vanilla bean, torched orange peel, demerara sugar, and a Luxardo cherry. The wine program covers Tusk Estate’s Napa Valley portfolio, a Grand Cru Burgundy, and a classic American whiskey to close.
Tickets are $1,195 per person plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited. Reservations through ashley@deelincolnprime.com.
