John Tesar to Host Annual Feast of the Seven Fishes Christmas Eve Dinner

On Christmas Eve, Chef John Tesar will offer his annual Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner at his new Knife Plano restaurant, at The Shops at Willow Bend. Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian tradition derived from the Roman Catholic custom of celebrating Christmas Eve with a shared meatless meal before the midnight Mass. Since his days at Spoon, Chef Tesar has made this tradition his own by perfectly curating a fish and seafood meal for his guests.

Lark on the Park Closing

Whenever a restaurant closes in Dallas it is always sad, especially when one as beautiful and as timeless as Lark on the Park. It never really was on the park, that is another restaurant, but we forgave that fact because the menu was always fresh as the chalkboard art, and as delicious as the cocktail menu that was continuously cutting edge.

AT&T Performing Arts Announces 5 Schools Selected for Disney Musicals in School Programs

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce the five schools that have been selected to participate in the 2019 Disney Musicals in Schools program. The program is an initiative developed by Disney Theatrical Productions to create sustainable theatre programs in under- resourced elementary schools. The five schools are a part of Dallas Independent School District. The five schools include L.O. Donald Leadership Academy, Ronald E. McNair Elementary School, School for the Talented and Gifted in Pleasant Grove, K.B. Polk Center for Academically Talented and Gifted, and Solar Preparatory School for Girls.
