New Pop-Up Restaurant

by Steven Doyle

There are many unique trends in food these days. Certainly the gastro pubs seemingly are on the forefront, as are the food trucks. One trend we follow more actively on craveDFW is the underground or pop-up restaurant.

We have a new discovery for those who enjoy dining at these intimate and somewhat clandestine culinary gatherings. Chef Nicole is no stranger to the Dallas restaurant scene, having worked at top shops in Dallas including Nana for chef Bombaci. Nicole graduated at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco in 2003 and has since made her mark.

We recently were able to work with Chef Nicole at one of the underground dinners in Dallas, and she has since announced three dates that will be held at a private, professional kitchen in Deep Ellum.

The main focus for Nicole’s dinners are farm-to-table and the secret menus will feature fresh, organic, free range, grass fed, and local ingredients. She takes special interest for those with dietary requirements including vegetarian and celiac.

The dates are as follows: Friday August 12th, Friday August 26th and Saturday August 27th at 7:30 each night. The dinners includes seven courses and are BYOB.
