There are still some seats available for Saturday night’s underground dinner with chef Nicole. She sends word that this Saturday will be particularly special with a guest Ali Morgan from Scardello, who will be showcasing cheeses.
Remember, Nicole is a classically trained chef who has cut her chops at such places as Nana and Bolsa here in Dallas.
We had a chance to catch up with Nicole during a recent dinner she was hosting and the cheese course was particularly breath-taking.
Read on for word from Nicole:
I wanted to let you all know that I still have some seats available for this Saturday night 9/10, but they are filling up quickly so please RSVP ASAP! There will be a special presentation about Texas cheeses by Ali Morgan of Scardello’s! Normally my 7 course meal would feature one local cheese as the 5th course, but since Ali is coming you get a bonus! 3 local cheeses, a little education and Ali even made one of them herself! Don’t miss this dinner if you are a fan of cheese… and who isn’t?
When: Saturday September 10th @ 7:30pm (and every Saturday night from here on out!)
Where: My Private Chef (in Deep Ellum) 2901 Elm St. Dallas, TX 75226 (FREE parking in the “Reel FX” parking lot behind My Private Chef, between the Ambrose apartments, they will not tow. Also free parking across the street at Cafe Brazil.)
What: A 7 course tasting featuring 3 Texas cheeses and a variety of local, organic, free range and grass fed ingredients.
How much: $60+ gratuity(I will send a PayPal invoice when you RSVP if you would like to pre-pay) and don’t forget to BYOB! Bring your own bottle(s) of a light to medium bodied red or perhaps a wheat beer. I recommend Franconia Wheat, it is a deliciously unfiltered beer with notes of orange, banana and clove, made locally in McKinney, TX.
Why: Why not? Help give back to your community by supporting local farmers, ranchers, artisans and small store owners. It will be delicious and educational!
How to RSVP: Send me an email: nicole@chefnicoledallas.com, text: 214-507-2136 or send a Facebook message:www.facebook.com/nicole.gosslingPlease be sure to include any dietary restrictions you may have in your RSVP.
If you can’t make it to this dinner don’t worry, there will be a dinner every Saturday night from now on!(unless it is a holiday or I decide to go camping) Most of the dinners will be 7 courses for $60, but there will be a few 4 & 5 course meals for $35-$45 and there may even be a 10 course! Also keep your eye out for beer and cocktail pairings mid fall and a very special Murder Mystery dinner near Halloween.
I love this idea. What about n/a beverages?
