Country music lovers will get to boot scoot once again as the popular 90s country club Denim & Diamonds is returning to the area with a grand opening this Friday night at 17727 Addison Road in the old Cape Buffalo location.
For the uptown crowd there is a lot of new life coming in the next few weeks with the soft opening of Avenu last Friday in the old Aura location and soon to be open Rumor Lounge & The Den in the old Liar’s Den location. Current hotspot Glass will also be opening a rooftop patio and naming it Revive for everyone to enjoy the view and also the same ownership group will be taking over Skye Bar and giving it a facelift and renaming it Red Lights.
Down on Henderson, Swig ( formerly Park ) opened its doors last night, and Sushi Axiom is taking over the vacant space next to them and opening a lounge. Very soon the popular Jake’s Burgers will be ready at the corner of Henderson & Belmont adding more options to what is now a very busy Knox /Henderson area.
Over in Deep Ellum, friends of craveDFW Elm St. Bar (notice their lovely ad) has reopened with a bit of a facelift. It seems to be a growing trend that the area once known for many bars and clubs is now the place for restaurants with the recent openings of The Free Man Cajun Cafe, Uncle Uber’s Sammich Shop and soon to be opened Henderson Chicken and Pepe’s Ranch.
With the changes on Lower Greenville with many bars and clubs closing it looks there will be plenty of options available for those looking for new nightlife action all over the area and even more to come. Keep checking Crave DFW for all the newest openings.
Yay! so great to know. I used to love Madison/Liar’s den and I am so glad they are using that space. Thanks!
