There are some pretty special events coming up and we wanted to make sure you had the scoop so you may make plans accordingly.
Mozzarella Company: Lidia Bastianich will join the crew at the cheese factory on November 29th to celebrate her new cookbook Lidia’s Italy in America, and she will be making cheese and sipping Bastianich Wines. The event is from 3pm to 4pm. Contact Mozzarella Company for more details.
Whiskey Cake: There are several really special events coming up at Whiskey Cake, so mark your calendars accordingly.
Whiskey Cake Farmers Market: There will be a whole host of offerings at this Market on December 4ththat will separate this from the rest. First, there will be booze on board. Celebrated barman Sean Conner has invited some of his top bartender friends from across the city to join in to shake a few cocktails, including a complimentary Bombay Sapphire Ramos Gin Fizz. We understand that the Fizz will be made from fresh milk from a cow that will be on hand.
Other vendors include Round Rock Honey, Empire Baking, Coffee Eiland and Holleman Farms, all local concerns. Fresh produce baskets will be available all containing goods from each of the vendors. A special brunch will also be served using these products.
Bombay Sapphire Tapas Dinner: A special three-course tapas-style dinner paired with cocktails served by Sean Conner and Bombay Sapphire on December 5th.
Oak Cliff Cellars: Enjoy this special wine dinner at City Café in Dallas on December 7, 2011. Make reservations now by contacting City Café. $65 per person.
