Ragin’ Crab Café Dallas, a new restaurant featuring top catches of fresh seafood served both steamed and seasoned in the tradition of a Louisiana crab boil, officially opened at 2100 Greenville Avenue on January 1, 2016. An official Grand Opening day with special pricing and offers will be hosted at the restaurant on Sunday, January 17.
The restaurant is a sister concept to Hibashi Teppan Grill & Sushi Bar in North Dallas, across from Galleria Dallas. Ragin’ Crab Café Dallas is co-owned by jewelry importer and restaurateur Steven Sohn and restaurateur Tiger Park. The new Ragin Crab Café Dallas provides a casual experience where customers are served at tables with bountiful batches of fresh seafood, sides and beverages – all enjoyed as guests roll up their sleeves for the fun of cracking and peeling shellfish and eating spicy seafood and crawfish.
The Ragin’ Crab Café features a freshest-catch menu of shrimp, crawfish, whole lobster tail, Dungeness crab, Alaskan king crab, snow crab, clams, green mussels and sea scallops among the selections. Guests choose their seasoning preferences, with options from: Classic Louisiana; signature Louisiana-inspired Ragin’ Bang; Lemon Pepper; Garlic; Garlic Butter; or Cajun. Co-Owner and Executive Chef Tiger Park shares that his secret recipes for seasonings feature premium spices such as paprika and cayenne, with a range of heat levels that appeal to all appetites.
Guests at Ragin’ Crab Café can also order Alaskan king crab, Dungeness crab, snow crab and shrimp menu selections that are steamed and unseasoned.
Fried fish, seafood selections and more are on the Ragin’ Crab Café menu, with fried shrimp, farm-raised catfish, and chicken tender baskets.
Side dishes on the Ragin’ Crab Café menu include Cajun French fries, hush puppies; boudin sausage; steamed rice; sweet potatoes; corn on the cob; red new potatoes; and cole slaw.
Appetizer choices are fried calamari; coconut shrimp; fried oysters; shrimp cocktail; buffalo shrimp; crab cakes; and wings. Ragin’ Crab Café also will serve classic clam chowder and gumbo, and a selection of desserts including cheese cake, chocolate cake, sherbet and ice cream.
