LORO Asian Smokehouse & Bar will be hosting an exclusive BBQ and book signing event to celebrate the launch of Chef Aaron Franklin’s third book, “Franklin Smoke”, next month. On June 10 from 2-5pm, Franklin will be celebrating at LORO Addison with complimentary book signing and smoked Pulled Pork and Chopped Brisket Sliders for purchase. The first 50 guests will also receive a free signed copy of the book.
Aaron Franklin is one of the most recognized names in barbecue and co-author of New York Times bestselling books, “Franklin Barbecue, A Meat-Smoking Manifesto” and “Franklin Steak”. His third, titled “Franklin Smoke”, will be on sale next month. Five years ago in 2018, Chef Tyson Cole of Uchi, Uchiko and Uchibā, and Chef Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue merged their two loves of Asian and Texas cuisine together to create LORO.
