JOEY Restaurants will officially welcome its first Dallas location at NorthPark Center, one of the city’s top shopping destinations. Opening to the public on January 18, JOEY’s elevated yet comfortable restaurant concept will feature a globally inspired food and beverage menu, a thoughtfully curated art collection, exceptional dining experiences and a lively environment. The NorthPark location, coined JOEY Dallas, is the Canadian-based hospitality company’s second Texas location, with a collection of restaurants across Canada and the U.S., including Washington, California and Florida.
“We are beyond excited to bring JOEY to Dallas’ renowned NorthPark Center,” says Layne Krienke, President of JOEY Restaurant Group. “Dallas’ position as a top-tier dining destination, fashion hub and leader in premier travel is the perfect complement to our globally inspired menu rooted in high standards of hospitality.”
JOEY Dallas’ 10,990-square-foot space, located on the first floor of NorthPark’s south corridor off Northwest Highway, will feature a dining room and lounge, a spacious outdoor patio and plenty of space to host private dining experiences of any size. With a tradition of incorporating each location’s unique local culture, JOEY Dallas will display works composed by renowned international and Texas-based artists with a vibrant, cosmopolitan aesthetic and edgy, western inspiration. Guests will find commissioned pieces from Texas natives such as B. Shawn Cox, Melinda Buie and Whitney Avra throughout the restaurant’s interior.
With a team of globe-trotting and award-winning chefs including Executive Chef Matthew Stowe (a Top Chef Canada winner), a three-time James Beard house guest chef, an Iron Chef from Japan, and a Bocuse d’Or veteran competitor—JOEY Dallas will bring a fresh culinary excellence along with it. Head Chef Eva Barrios (2019 Chef-to-Chef Mystery Basket Competition winner and runner-up for Hispanic Top Chef 2023) will be relocating and bringing her longtime success and innovation in the Houston culinary scene to Dallas.
JOEY Dallas’ cuisine will feature a fusion of flavors, from fire-torched sushi and premium steak selections to comforting bowls, burgers and handhelds. Signature dishes include the JOEY Classic Steak with Crispy Mashed Potatoes, Hummus, Seared Salmon Sushi and Sake-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. All of JOEY Dallas’ dishes impeccably pair with the bar menu, a collection of premium wine selections from JOEY’s in-house sommelier and handcrafted cocktails like the Spicy Passionfruit Margarita and Real Peach Bellini. Guests can also enjoy the JOEY Supers, a twist on the classic highball with signature lemon and lime slush.
